Build infrastructure with a small team

We write systems software, work out messaging protocols and build native interfaces for desks where losing a message means losing revenue.

Hiring steps

Four things that are true here

Engineers run support

Everyone who builds the software answers tickets. A bug report reaches you from the person who hit it at work.

Customer-driven delivery

The release order comes from the desks that run on this. A named customer's blocker outranks a roadmap slide.

Wide ownership

A small team means little bureaucracy. You own whole subsystems, from a channel adapter to the search index to the interface on top.

Antwerp and remote

We work out of the Antwerp office, with flexibility for engineers inside European hours.

Four hiring steps

We judge candidates on what they can build and how clearly they think. Candidates go through the same four steps.

Introductory call

A first call with Ben or Adam about your background and what you have built.

Paid work sample

A focused task on the stack you would work on, paid at a standard contract rate.

Technical review

We walk through your implementation together and talk architecture.

Decision

A definitive answer after the final review.

No role fits, but you want in?

Send what you have built and which subsystem you would want to own. The founders review applications.

No card required. We reply with an onboarding slot and a connection guide.
