SMS on the numbers you already own
Two-way texting for the customers who have no data connection. Couriers, drivers and older accounts stay reachable from the same queue as everything else.
SMS
Connected accounts are running in production today.
How SMS connects
A number your team already owns connects, so the number your customers know does not change. New messages arrive in the shared inbox from that moment, each with its delivery receipt beside it.
SMS reaches a phone with no data connection, which matters for couriers and drivers. It runs two-way on the numbers your team already owns and indexes beside every other network.

What the models do on SMS
Search, summaries and spam filtering are available where listed for this channel. The parts that only matter on SMS are turned on here.
Short messages in context
A four-word text is read against the whole conversation history rather than on its own.
Opt-out handling
A stop request is honoured on arrival and recorded in the audit log.
Timezone-aware send
A scheduled text lands inside the recipient's working hours, not yours.
Spam shield, thread summaries and search run on every plan. Commitment tracking, follow-up watch and translation start on Team and cover each connected account, including this one.
The AI layerHistory and export
Connecting an account brings new messages in from that moment. If the network provides an account archive you can request, upload the file and those earlier conversations join the same index. Every text after the connection, in and out, is indexed with its delivery receipt, and exports come out as JSON and CSV with the timestamp and the number on both ends.
Export formats
Plus the original media beside them.
SMS history you can take with you
The archive is indexed for the life of the account, from 1 GB on Starter to 1 TB on Scale. A single export runs to 1 GB on Starter and Team and 25 GB on Scale, and Enterprise export limits are set in the order form. Read and export access stays open for 30 days after cancellation.
SMS, specifically
What people ask before they connect this network. An engineer answers channel questions.
Ask us directlyCan we keep our existing SMS numbers?
Yes. A number your team already owns connects, so the line your customers already text keeps working and new messages land in the shared inbox.
Does connecting a number bring the texts already sent to it?
No. Connecting an account brings new messages in from that moment. If the network provides an account archive you can request, upload the file and those earlier conversations join the same index.
Is SMS priced separately?
A connected number counts as one account on your plan. CommunicationOS adds nothing to what your carrier charges you for traffic.
